the founders

Simone Bianconcini creative director

Since 1995, Simone has been working in the field of visual communication and branding creation, accumulating a wealth of experience in the luxury and fashion industry and establishing a unique insight into the global and Chinese markets. In 1996, Simone joined Giorgio Armani during the brand’s rapid growth period, helping to create the brand’s visual creative department. In 2006, he joined Gucci as Art Director, supporting Frida Giannini, Creative Director at the time, in communicating her ideas with the market; in the following decade, Simone built and led the Creative Visual Department responsible for graphic design, digital design, windows and display design. Later, as Alessandro Michele was appointed Creative Director at Gucci, Simone was accountable for combining Michele’s pioneering aesthetics with the brand’s overall expression. In 2016, Simone moved to Shanghai to join Icicle as Art Director, where his experience not only enabled him to realise his full potential as one of the key creators of the brand’s visual identity, but also helped the brand to establish an efficient and professional workflow and structure. Through four years of continuous improvement, Icicle has gained an excellent reputation and outstanding market performance.
